Out of habit, I'd been mixing one scoop of whey protein in with yogurt for my morning breakfast (among some fruit, etc). Quick, easy, makes for good protein intake.
All until I had my blood checked for physical and my kidney numbers were high. Per my doctor, this was likely due to whey protein (and/or the other ingredients mixed in). And this was run-of-the-mill protein from local Vitamin World.
Testimony: +1 for dropping the fake/manufactured food and eating real food. Kidneys will thank you.
