I have read Walden each of the last two (three?) summers and plan on reading it again this summer. I'll probably read For Whom the Bell Tolls again as well. I read One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest last summer and liked it so much I think I'll read it again this summer.

I just yesterday finished reading Predictably Irrational. Very good. Currently slogging my way through Proust and I also am rereading Guns, Germs, and Steel.

This summer I'd like to read a non-Constance Garnett translation of Crime and Punishment. And then either Moby Dick or Ulysses, both if I'm feeling ambitious. Some evolutionary theory, some Michael Lewis, and whatever else catches my fancy.

Having summers off is the best.
