Would a standard plywood and rubber mat platform protect a cement floor that also acts as a ceiling to a basement? My dad says I could use one of his building units for training my clients in, but he's worried that dropping weights on the floor would bust it. I told him about building platforms, but he's still worried, so I mentioned putting tires underneath them. I would like to avoid putting tires underneath though if anyone thinks that's possible.
