I played with the fasted post workout before and I definitely leaned out, but it was pretty bad for performance.
What did seem to work was when I played with sort of a carbless post workout. So, I would eat carbs with protein for breakfast and lunch, then my post workout would be just protein, and for the rest of the night I'd do just protein and fat. It turned into alot of salads but I felt pretty good, leaned out a bit, and my performance didn't seem altered.
