Did he ever run the 50k? What happened? If he did, what was his time?
Why did he include the endurance chapter the book? He did not complete a 50k run, thus validating the protocol before writing this chapter. He seemed to have had a successful experience thus validating the other chapters...leaning out with ice, spriting faster, gaining muscle. However, he devoted an entire chapter to a theory he had not tested. Why?
