I didn't take out all other pressing, but I drastically reduced it and did a bunch of TGUs for a time.
It was good for me as my shoulders are a bit tricky. One's been scoped (right side) and the other now gives me issues going overhead. Bench is cool though.
But to your question, my shoulders felt much better doing a fair amount of moderate weight TGU's. It worked so well that I stopped doing this.
And if you don't think kettleball squat cleans are difficult, I say, step up to the med-ball
