Default Grip Imbalance

Short version:

Pretty drastic grip imbalance. Should I limit grip work on my dominant hand to let the other catch up?

Long version:

I've been putting more effort into grip training for the last couple of months.

I'm training three times a week - ending each session with a grip exercise: CoC grippers, fat grip deadlifts and plate pinch grip holds for time once a week each. (Taking a break from specific grip work every third week.)

The issue that I'm having is that my left hand is severely lacking compared to my right one (I've been having some issues with my left shoulder for the past year).

For example, when it comes to CoC grippers, I can close the #1 ten times with my right hand, but only once with my left. With the Trainer I stopped at 50 for my right hand but I could barely squeeze out 25 with my left. There's a similar difference in the pinch grips, as well.

Should I be worried about this discrepancy?

It's been suggested to me that I do the same amount of work for my right hand as my left one, but limiting the grip development of one hand intentionally just seems silly to me.

Any grip experts out there want to chime in on this?
