I've heard that they have overly smooth handles, that they are not designed well for "competition" purposes, they are simply in the competition shape in order to sell to those who are undereducated in what good comp KBs are.

I did kind of laugh at 'smooth as glass' handles...rather misses the point!

Diluglio definitely had a hand in that. He's been involved with PB for quite awhile. He attended Valery's first AKC Certifcation in Jan 2007.

I would be interested to hear the feedback on them. Besides, the AKC..They won't be the only ones selling them.

By the pics, the handles look a tad on the thin side compared to the ones I have (I have a couple that were shipped with handles that thin, and I don't like them).
