400/800/1500/Shot/Discus
I plan to compete in the PA Senior Games in July, held in York PA. I’m going to give the 400/800/1500/Shot/Discus a solid try. If I can place in the top three spots in any category, it qualifies me for the 2010 National Games.
I plan to be working with a Throwing coach next month, but wonder if anyone has suggestions for training exercises.
I feel pretty confident that the basic SS program will/has served me well and I should be in good basic shape when practice starts outside, but I’m open(and welcome) any and all suggestions.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Right on Jay, good to see you around here. Nothing really to add, but I'll be pulling for you too.

Craig;
Good suggestion, as I follow Dan's blog. I'll cross post my question over there.
Thanks Derek.

George, the State games are in York PA! Not sure where the Nationals will be next year. Def will stop by the York factory for a tour and again, will have to drop some cash. Thanks for the offer of stopping by, I'll keep ya all posted on progress.
Garrett, so true. Here is where I'm eating lunch at today. http://blazinbillsribs.com/
