Default Bad cholesterol: Itís not what you think

A diet high in saturated fat mainly boosts the numbers of large-LDL particles, while a low-fat diet high in carbohydrates propagates the smaller forms. The big, fluffy particles are largely benign, while the small, dense versions keep lipid-science researchers awake at night.

Next up, cholesterol lowering drugs for kids....put right into their morning cereals.

MOD, you haven't heard the discussions about adding statins to the drinking water?

Scott, no need to eat them anymore! Better living through chemistry...

I really liked London when I visited, but man, those Brits sure do some wacky stuff sometimes.

There is nothing more dangerous....than people in charge convinced they need to save the world with some drug and not give anyone another option.

Maybe that's the whole state of health f*** up in the first place....no one has any motivation to save themself because they expect someone else to do it for them. I mean why should anyone learn to swim if they keep throwing life preservers and inner tubes into the gene pool.
