Alarm clock
Realistically, I need one, but my current one is too bright (green light, to boot).
Can anyone recommend a good clock radio that doesn't light up the whole stinking room?

Wristwatch with vibrating function. No light at all, except for when you want to see it.

I've heard placing electrical tape over the front display of an alarm clock works really well. Or, you could do what I do and just place a hat over the alarm clock at night.

I have this one for years. But honestly, I dont even need the alarm function. I set my mind to when I wanna be up, and it happens!

I heard that there's an alarm clock that stays completely dark until just before your alarm, it lights up and wakes you with increasing light intensity to simulate a sunrise. I saw it in a magazine once and never came across it again.
