Fasted training
Hey guys,
Does anyone around here train in a fasted state?
I have been training in a fasted state everyday this week but I am still not sure whether I like it or not. I guess I will have to wait for the upcoming weeks in which the volume is a bit bigger. However, I haven't noticed any performance problem so far. All good, then.

Did noon time lifting fasted, with just some BCAAs pre workout ala Leangains.com and liked, still do. Works for me if I train a couple hours after rising and have coffee.
I do a little under an hour of lifting, minimal conditioning (some farmers maybe). Have hit squat prs while not increasing body-weight this way.

It's not magic, or anything. It's useful if your training schedule and your feeding schedule line up that way.

Yep, I take 30g of BCAAs during training.
I'm just a bit concerned about performance when taking max reps, for example, or even related to muscle catabolism.

Half of my training is fasted depending on my schedule sometimes with bcaa's sometimes not. I've never noticed a drop in performance unless I'm not getting enough food or sleep and my fasted workouts are normally between 16-18 hours.
I do believe that fasted workouts offer benefits for fat loss assuming your nutrition isn't that bad as I'm pretty lean right now. Martin's got a good article on it on his leangains blog.
