I have been weightlifting exclusively for about two months and competed in my first meet last Sunday. I have seen big gains in my snatch and jerk, but my achilles heel is the clean. I presently jerk about 80 kgs, but I can't clean more than 64-65 kgs.
I think I am starting my second pull too early. As a result, I have to compensate and come forward to catch the bar. I have been incorporating more work from the hang in my training. Are there other exercises I can add to improve my turnover?
