OK Steve, you are doing them wrong thats the problem!
You need to alternate arms between each rep doing a push-up in between!
What you were doing was a plank row for lack of a better word.
Push-up, Row one arm, push-up, row other arm...
Dude I can do this with 32kg KBS, and so can you!
