When I was in college I had a full head of hair until junior year. I then switched to a schedule where I had class starting at 2pm - 9 pm. I used to stay up until 4 am every night and get up just before class. Because of this I usually got a max of one meal between 9-10pm with alcohol of course. I went from being in the best shape of my life at 190 to 165 with no muscle. It was at this time my hair started receeding in the front. Since that year I have gotten some better eatting habits and haven't lost any more hair (I am now 28). Is it possible that poor diet caused my hair loss?
poor diet, poor sleep, muscle loss...yeah your body was all messed up. Your cortisol was most likely chronically out of control and that messed with your adrenals, thyroid and everything else. Aka...your body was malfunctioning.
Same old story, eat right and get your sleep if you want to stay healthy.
