I've been getting good results with the PharmaGABA from Thorne, the same stuff that's in the T-Nation supplement.

Work and training have had me sleeping quite well even without it though.

New Chapter is a brand that you can find in almost any health food store.. they have their Tranquilnite™ Plus.

I haven't heard any good/bad things about NC products but they seem to emphasize the whole foods approach of culturing their supplements.. but they use soy a lot which is cautionary.. anyone have any good/bad comments on NC stuff?

It's cultured soy and in relatively small (supplemental) amounts, I wouldn't concern myself with it unless someone is sensitive to begin with.

I like New Chapter's stuff in general.

How about a large rubber mallet from ACME INC?

Seriously though, since I have started becoming even more and more on the IF side of the sustenance methodology house, I agree that I find the later evening carbs cause nice cozy coma by bedtime . Probably by design . Whether its a beer or a glass or two of wine or sweet potato doesn't matter.

Or like the infamous Breyers every night for example, and yes I actually eat some most nights. Sound asleep in no time haha.
