Go for the belt and suspenders method, Fenthis.

Workout from 6-7 am. Eat like a death row inmate from 7-8 am. Then fast until 7 am. the next day. You don't have to worry about being killed by those pesky snacks. You already have the early morning AND PWO insulin elevation anyway. Bombs away!
