Cool. I train under Matt, and its nice to see a well thought out interview with him. It was nice to see some different questions than the usual ones.
I didn't know he was engaged. I'll have to congratulate him.

Thanks! Matt was really cool about answering questions, and follow-up questions, and even more follow-up questions. It made my job really easy. I am glad you liked it. I guess that's what I was going for; trying to hit it from a different angle. So I focused on training methodology and on some of the more personal stuff that sometimes gets glossed over.

VERY NICE. I am new to BJJ, so I was unaware that it suffers the same problems of crap talking and "my daddy can beat up yours" as other sports. He seems to stay above it.
I have been lurking around that website for a while. I may have to subscribe.
I really like his teaching philosophy. I am scheduled to go to Portland next month, so I may drop-in and have a look.
