Default Eating Window Question

I am just starting IF and I am a bit confused about eating windows...

I don't fast every day, usually 2-3x a week until my body gets used to it...

My fasts usually have a 5-6 hour eating window...from around 1 PM to 7 PM.

I am striving for an 18-19 hour fast.

I am assuming that that means that I should stop eating 18-19 hours BEFORE 1 PM (at around 6 PM the night before)...or does that not matter, so long as I don't eat for a total of 19 hours in a 24 hour period.

The first seems more logical, but I haven't found this info anywhere...then again I am still new to the IF lifestyle..

I apologize if this is a repeat question but i looked around a bit before asking.

If you are shooting for a 18-19 hour fast that means in a row. So you'd fast, eat from 1pm to whatever...depending on if you were going to fast the next day as well. For example.

M - normal eating day last meal at 8 pm
T - fasting day so you fast from your last meal on Monday for 18-19 hours, so you eat at 2 pm - 8 pm
W - fasting day so you eat at 2 pm - 8 pm
Th - normal eating day
etc....
