Default GOMAD question

i understand, or think i understand the GOMAD. drink it, as it has the good protein and carbs, and puts on weight with the additional good source of calories... when you weigh more your squat should go up if your training hard, a bit at a time because of the extra body weight....what about a swimmer, runner, or cyclist? take a very good 5k runner... he trains super hard, doing a 10 miler on sunday, a recovery run of 6 miles on mon, an interval session on tues, a recovery run on wed... etc. then he is hitting exercises like curls, for arms, which is needed in the last 400 of a 5k race, pumping the arms fast and hard so hopefully the lower body moves just as fast. does pullups, and abs and pushups... training hard but using all the energy for the running training.. will the GOMAD with this hard training help him in his sport?? or is it just for bulking up for a guy wanting to add weight, which will increase his lifts?no magic in the milk, just extra calories to bulk up?
not really for a runner, or swimmer or cyclist???

The runner, cyclist, and swimmer aren't trying to build mass necessarily like the weightlifter, therefore I don't think GOMAD would be great for them at all.

Curls aren't going to help a 5k runner do better in the last 400m. Running 400m intervals will though.

There is magic in the milk, it makes mammals grow, especially by increasing the production of IGF-1.

The GOMAD method also puts on extra fat which isn't productive for the endurance minded.

There is also an insulin secretion enhancement with milk....which like George said can put on extra fat esp if the calories are not controlled. Milk also has bronchial inflammatory properties...which I would assume is not ideal for the endurance minded.

I think the last part of the answer is what is the overall caloric intake of the cyclist, runner etc.? If it's woefully low due to caloric expenditure, then something like GOMAD would be fine to keep someone from being a stick figure. But you're talking about burning 5000+ kcals/day for that to be the case. Not a likely scenario.
And if you don't think kettleball squat cleans are difficult, I say, step up to the med-ball
