Allison! Hi there!
Thanks for the kind words. You rocked it at the meet, too. Good job!

Thanks Ronnie! You are the one with the kind words here!
I am so new to this (started CF in July and O-lifting in November) I am just happy I got out on the platform and did a decent job. My next task is integrating getting on the platform and lifting real weight with everyone watching!
This is really good stuff...If only I knew 20 years ago what I know now..... oh well, with age comes widom, right??

New PR today: 92.5 kg clean and jerk.
This was a nice ending to a rather craptacular workout of bombed snatches and general suckitude. Snatches weren't too sharp but C&J was good. Shooting for 100 kg by summer. Wish me luck, mates.

Ronnie-
Nice work. Sometimes when everything is going to hell it's just some rewiring that will lead to new PR's. Sometimes its just having no MO-jo!
Keep it up! Someday if you and I combine our totals we may match Aimee's openers..

Heh heh.Yeah. Melanie Roach, a lifter for Team USA, trains in Sumner and it's amazing and inspiring to see this pint-sized lady (3 kids and back surgery to boot) belt out the big weights that guys like me can only dream about lifting. I have no qualms about getting smoked by a gal in the fitness and lifting department - just tons of respect.
