I will share what I do, however, I'm fully open to any advice or criticism because I may be doing it wrong. If I'm not, then consider this a start point for people zoning.
I follow the CF main page WOD, 3 days On, 1 day Off. I do IF on my rest days.
I am 5'9" and 155 pounds.
ON days, I eat 16 blocks of protein and carbs, with 5x-6x fat. I eat more fat depending on how hungry I am.
OFF days, I get up and eat 16 blocks with 5x fat in under 3 hours. After I finish what I call "loading." I stop eating and drink only water for the rest of the day. The next day, I wait till I get to about 20-24 hours since my last meal before I break the fast.
I don't know if this is the proper way to IF, but it keeps me eating roughly the same number of calories per day, and I have been consistently PRing on wods. Personally, I really hate the "zone" but the blocks are so damn convenient as far as measuring food.
I will note, I have been getting sick with a cold or flu almost every 20 days like clockwork for about 4 months now, I don't know if that is in any way related.
