Utah v. Cal was a great match.
Recorded both days and they'll be in my DVR for awhile.
Got me seriously thinking about dusting off my kit.

Sevens really is fun to watch. I only saw the last match, but it was quite exciting! I really should watch the local clubs...so many weekend commitments...

Nice. Intense 7s play led me to throw up after the game was done on two occasions.
You got to be fit and fast to play it well.

I played 7's once...
just once...
big mistake for a guy weighing 275 when he played rugby.

I played 7s in high school. Scrum half while playing full sides. Hooker in 7s. Different experience.
Good way to puke, but a ton of fun.

I didn't get a chance to watch it (as my team was too busy winning the National Championship that day!). Did they say if they would rebroadcast it at some later date?

Don't remember. I got the feeling that it was kind of a test run since 7s will be in the next Olympics and I think NBC is broadcasting them.

Yes, NBC has the rights for the Olympics. As of this week, they also have the broadcast rights for the next two World Cups as well. This will be welcome change from having to watch the second most popular sporting event in the world on my computer. I've been saying for over a decade that if a broadcast channel would take a chance on rugby, the American viewing public would love it. Look at the popularity spike of curling after the last Winter Olympics, and curling is nothing compared to rugby. It's about time the only sport played on every continent got some broader promotion in the USA.
