Default Favorite Blogs (non-fitness)

As I am looking into launching my own blog, I have been doing extensive research on everything out there...and just wanted to pass along what I consider some of the top (non fitness related) blogs out there (besides Eades and DeVany of course)

Love this site as I am a simplicity person at heart

Great book and the blog keeps going to remind you to make your time productive and get rid of all the other crap
http://fourhourworkweek.com/blog/

a good all around topic site
http://www.lifehack.org/

Good stuff--With the exception of Zen Habits, I check them all out on a semi-regular basis. I will have to add it to my list.

Here are a few more:

http://evelynrodriguez.typepad.com/c...ds_dispatches/

http://freakonomics.blogs.nytimes.com/

http://www.gapingvoid.com/

http://www.kk.org/cooltools/

Dave beat me to the punch on Boing Boing.

Also, if you follow a large number of blogs, using a news aggregator makes it much easier to keep up with all of the feeds. I use Bloglines, but there are others that probably work just as well.

Orson Scott Card's sites, he is a science fiction writer who wrote the ender series. In the first blog he reviews everything; books, movies and the like.

http://www.hatrack.com/osc/reviews/everything/

The second blog is more political and is called the ornery American.

http://www.ornery.org/index.html

I look at the big brain on all you brads and feel very blog inadequate. I read blogs mostly for enjoyment and fitness information but I am going to add most of the ones that have been talked about.

Cool link! I enjoyed his novels and the reviews I've read so far on his site are pretty good!
