I have a pretty basic question that i cant seem to find the answer too. My wife has lost 15lbs on the Zone. Should she readjust her blocks to reflect her current weight? She was at 150lbs, now at 135lbs.
Measure her again to find her lean body mass, then re-calculate blocks accordingly. Or, if what she is doing is still working, don't fix it if it ain't broken!
If she is still losing, then No...as the zone is already a low enough calorie approach...and since it is based on protein requirements per lean mass...her protein blocks should not go down (or that means she is losing lean mass). If you find a weight to stay at then you can add in more blocks in the form of healthy fats to maintain..or just eat Paleo.
