Default Lakanto

Hey, I was just wondering everyone's opinion on this sweetener from BED....

https://shop.bodyecology.com/prodinfo.asp?number=BE021

I have used it ( in little amounts in recipes) and it is by far the best tasting sweetener.

Thanks

Sounds great, especially if it doesn't cause the GI symptoms that other sugar alcohols do...

I'll have to try some with my next big BED order...I already make their Stevia available to my patients.

Here is an amazing fudge recipe that I made using Lakanto:

1 bar pure coconut cream
shredded coconut
ground flax
1-2 Tbsp raw cocoa
Lakanto to taste (~1-2tbsps)

Melt coconut cream then add rest of ingredients. mix well and fill up mini muffin cups with the mixture. Let it cool until it hardens - yum!

Ari,
Xylitol, like every other sugar alcohol I've eaten, gives me loose bowels when taken in doses large enough to sweeten foods or drink. I do believe it has some health benefits, but only if it stays in you long enough!
