Does anyone know where to buy (on-line) the tights-like weightlifting pants that are like tights but thicker? I have seen pictures of adidas kinds in the past. a good example is in Starting Strength. I can't seem to find them anywhere on the net. thanks.
They aren't super-tight, but they are definitely a closer fit than warmup pants. There are elastic cuffs on the bottom, with zippers for easy changing with shoes on. They also have the reinforced material on the thigh area where the bar typically brushes.
Oh yeah--they're black with the three stripes. Extra cool points.
I have a pair by UnderArmour that sound like exactly what the Doc described(tighter fit than regular sweats but not skin-tight/mantastic, zippers on the legs, tapered) X-mas present so I don't know the $ amount, probably high but I love deadlifting in them. Shins still end up bloody though...
What about good ol' sweat pants? Elastic cuff on the bottom and all. They'll keep you warm. Add some 12 dollar neoprene knee sleeves from your local drugstore, and there you go. Save up for you expensive shoes and singlet.
