Go with the first option. You're fine.
I know I eat a lot fewer calories on Paleo + IF. I did a 22 hour fast yesterday hardly even thinking about it (actually I didn't want the lunch I brought, so I didn't eat it).
You're more efficient with your food now, both due to the IF and due to eating "better" foods.
Unless you notice a health or performance-related problem, then everything is likely fine.
