Study done on Studies
Wow....shocking (sarcasm)....but sad enough that most people probably really have no idea.
http://today.reuters.com/news/articl...2_healthNews-1
"The study, published by the Public Library of Science online journal PLoS Medicine, echoes other findings that show industry-funded research on drugs is more likely to be favorable to the drugs than independent research."

And that's the key that the industries go for....most people have no idea. If it's in the news and from a study, it is true.

Heard this one on the radio today--try not be shocked--nutritional studies funded by people who sell food stuff (e.g., Dairy Council, etc.)...ready for this?...tend to be more favorable toward the food in question than research not supported by that food entity!!!

Yeah, but I got a gold star. Take that, egg council.
Is there a "grass-fed beef" council? I'd totally believe what they say.
A "beer council?"
