Default wrestlers bridge for judo?

Good way to strengthen the neck for judo?

If not, what are some better ways?

Isometrics with your hands as resistance.

There's some head harnesses you can use too. But those cost money.

I'm sure the efficacy of the wrestlers bridge is pretty good although I don't know how dangerous it is for your C spine

good...i'm surprised it isn't done as mandatory conditioning besides the duckwalks, stomach crawls and other stuff.

as an adult just take it progressively using your hands to take off some of the pressure or prop your head higher than your feet.

I can already do it pretty easily, I'm just wondering if i should so it after my workouts or after judo. Like if there are any dangers associated with it or anything.

good exercise. always somewhat of a risk to place your c-spine in loaded hyperextension... but better to do that in a controlled, safe manner to get strong and prepared for when it happens in a non-controlled, non-safe manner.

i do it regularly and will even hold DBs or the like overhead to add a bit more. just break into it easily, progress gradually, and pay attention - if you start developing pain or some non-good thing, back off and have your shit checked out.

I will attest as have some chiros that my dad's and I's neck from years of head bridging is what saved our necks during some car wrecks, well besides from being thrown or landing on our heads.
