New to Olympic lifting
I've been working technique with the Olympic lifts (mainly the snatch) for the past 1 1/2-2 months. I've found a gym to train at (Hassle Free BBC in Sacramento, CA), but have made it there quite infrequently over the past few months.
To get to my real question, I've been doing SS for a little over 3 months as my first real strength program. I don't think I'm anywhere near the end of my progression. With that said, would it make sense to continue SS while continuing to work technique on the Olympic lifts? Or should I switch to an Olympic programming?
Where I'm at:
19, 5'8", 152lbs
Bench Press: 140lbs
Power Clean: n/a (due to not having proper equipment, I'm not really sure where my power clean is). I can hang power clean a measly 110lbs for 3s.
I realize my base strength is still a bit weak and that's somewhat the reason why I'm unsure about how I should continue my training.
