I have a Toddy maker--pretty cool. It takes a little bit to get used to the coffee because there's no acid/bite to it. Almost tastes creamy, but not... I find that I drink a ton more coffee when I use it, because I know it's just sitting there in the fridge...waiting for me...calling to me...preparing to impart it's caffeinated goodness...

The Toddy is definitely cool. They produce a low acid brew that is super-concentrated, which can then be diluted with hot water, similar to the way espresso is diluted to make an Americano. For a regular cup of coffee, I prefer drip brew, but the toddy concentrate does make a nice cold coffee drink with milk or half & half, if you don't have issues with dairy.

Ken is right on about the abuse potential When there's a batch in the fridge, it's impossible to resist.
