Default Video to go with Matt Foreman's article on Chemerkin

World University 2000 Supers
Crazy. Chemerkin's 2 C&Js are towards the end of the video. I was hoping we'd get to see Matt in action, but alas, no luck there.

Good article.

It looked like he pressed out his jerk a lot. Shouldnt that have gotten some reds from the judges?

Yeah, it looks like they were only taping the top three guys. That's fine, I lifted like crap anyway.

The crazy thing is that the angle of the video doesn't even really show the whole story of those lifts. Seeing it up close and live, you could definitely see just a little bit of daylight between the bar and his chest when he was preparing to jerk. That's 507 pounds he did that with! If you watch the video of his lifting in Sydney a few months later, you can really see the problem when he C&Js 260. He had to put a herculean effort into whipping his elbows through with that huge weight, grunting with pain as he turned the bar over.
