Default big snatch video!

If anyone wants to see a nice looking snatch, go to californiastrength.com, and look in the blogs. In the CalStrength team blog, there is a nice video of a 170kg snatch done today by Donny Shankle on the friday afternoon workout, weighing about 106kg. Donny competes as a 105kg lifter. After this lift, Donny had 175kg on locked arms overhead for a split second before missing it behind. Both pulls were pretty technically sound, in my opinion.

thanks for the kind words Arden!

Greg, you might appreciate this one also

Jon had snatched 145 as a 105, but hes down to a 94 now, weighing right around 95kg on the day he did this, and its a pretty decent effort with 145kg... I really think he is gonna go 150 plus real soon as a 94kg lifter, the kid has an unbelievable work capacity.

Nice. A little work in the bottom, but great speed at the top.
