Sprained Finger?

Hey guys,

Was throwing a medicine ball around with a mate today and I seem to have caught it a bad angle, now my middle finger is really sore, tight, stiff and swollen and bit. I still have full range of motion. I have been using ice. Do I need to see a doctor or put a splint on it? I happened about 30 mins ago by the way.

Any advice much appreciated.

Compression, anti-inflams... ice if it helps.

Rest it for hte next couple days. If it doesn't improve significantly see a doc.

Otherwise, start moving it as much as possible without pain once it starts healing up.
