Maybe you can relate...
to the heat!! It is so hot here in Vegas I have to wait for the cold water in the shower to get cold as possible for my post work-out bath but it never gets cold!! It is somewhere between cold and warm!! Can't catch a break here. My garage gym? You'd think that after I open the garage doors it would at least be less hot, but no, it almost seems warmer. And that is in the AM for goodness sakes...I can't wait till I have the opportunity to set a 10k cfm evap cooler and punch it in to the garage.

Suck it up dude!
I worked out outside twice this weekend here in hot Tucson, AZ. One day back squats, one day weighted chins and standing presses. Saturday was 101, yesterday was 99 and starting to get pre-rain humid.
Find some shade, I have a big tree in my front yard. For the garage, a couple good fans will do.
The most important step is this, and it is the hardest one. Do not complain about the heat. The more one complains, the hotter and less bearable it becomes very quickly. Appreciate the heat for the easy warm-up it gives to your joints and muscles.
Drink water that has some kind of minerals in it (I used some Emergen-C packets). Keep a towel or t-shirt around to wipe off the sweat.
That's it.

Ahh, southern California...70 degrees on a daily basis. Nope....can't relate. Though if I were still in Louisville, I'd be able to relate...it's been regularly over 90 with heat indexes in the low 100s throughout June there.

I guess I hear enough of it from my wife and others coming in my office, that I'm a bit sensitive.
"It is SO hot outside!"
"...NOOOOOOO - really?"
I am serious about the not complaining thing though. Helps with just about everything, IMO.

Actually, I really like working out outside in the heat. One reason is that no one comes outside, so I have my workout in peace. The heat is worth it in that way.

It's pretty hot here...but it's really the humidity that kills me. Right now I feel like i'm swimming when I'm outside.

Frank I am with you. This morning the garage was sweltering but when I opened the door the humidity dang near knocked me down. Down here I say all the the time it sure is hot but at least its humid... People have no sense of humor any more I tell you. It seems like every day for the past month it has been well over 100 heat index. Kind of sucks when the air coming off the fans is hot. Have you tried one of those fans that blows a mist? I wouldn't here as there is so much moisture in the air already but out in LV that might help.

All the moaning and complaining is in fun....nice to hear others love the heat too hah! I do agree with G in the sense that I don't let it bother me but try and enjoy the good sweat I get going. That 10k cooler will push so much air it'll be a joke.....saw 'em being used at one of our local gymnastices facilities the other day and they are just silly.

Oh man, I'm all about bitching and moaning. That's what the internet is really for, anyway.
Yeah, it was pretty hot in NYC last week too, so I can relate -- especially since my local gym doesn't have AC. I do tend to get energized off of the misery of others though, so overall it wasn't too bad, except for the part about almost passing out in the supermarket's frozen food section on the way home.
Of course my 74 year old dad played 18 holes of golf on the hottest day, and insists on carrying his own bag and never even considers driving a cart. He's a graduate of the Iron John School of Golf.
