Default Olympic clubs/coaches in Boston?

One of my guys is moving to Boston next week, was inquiring about coaching in the area. Any tips?

North Shore CF has a club I think. Haven't seen or heard of any others since I searched the USAW site.

Ben Fuller coaches out of Waltham mass. and is a former junior nat. champ, I believe the team is called Excel. Also Dennis Reno is located in Newton, Mass. but I don't know anything more than that about his potential coaching availability. Also, Ellen Robinson has a team around the Bridgewater area(she is a prof. at Bridgewater State College) and I can not say enough good things about her. A great coach and an awesome person! Her team is called Robinson's Weightlifting I believe. I hope this helps out!

Just want to give a shoutout for one of my former gyms, Crossfit Boston. Its more of an Olympic lifting gym hiding in a Crossfit costume. Gotta pay the bills, eh? If you live near Roxbury/in the Boston area, give Neal, the head coach, a call/email. He's a great guy and an avid proponent of Non-Retarded Programming.

Last time I trained there (approx. 1 year ago), we focused almost exclusively on the Olympic Lifts. Some short metcons here and there, but really just olympic lifting every day. It appears that their programming has cycled to 5/3/1, but I recall that two of the four trainers there compete in weightlifting rather than the Crossfit Games. They also seem to have a 'secret' weightlifting club. I would always see oly-only workouts on the board for 'other classes'...

Of course, YMMV but I have only good memories of the place.

I'm a member and lift with Ben Fuller/ Boston Weightlifting (formerly Excel). In addition to Ben, we have 2 more nationally ranked athletes, as well as a few Master's lifters (one nationally ranked)

We train in Norwood, MA (also the same location for denis reno's athletes) but may have a space in Boston soon.

feel free to shoot me an email: smithb9 (at) gmail.com

Thanks for the input guys, Ben just got out there, and is settling in. Looks like the VA has put him in contact with a team, but I've also forwarded your suggestions.
