Default Best Assistance exercises for first pull...

I have a hard time staying tight when I initiate the first pull. What's the best assistance exercise for this? Should I just load the bar and do first pull deadlifts, or does anyone have other preferred assistance work to tighten that up?

Thanks!

Matt

It depends on your development with the lifts. Snatch & Clean deadlifts work well, as well as pause deadlifts

Sn/cln deadlifts to the knee and floating sn/cln deadlifts. the latter is better if you have trouble w regard to flexibility because it will be easier to set and hold the position from the top.
