hello my name is lino Moreno im 16 and Im new to Olympic lifting. I have been lifting for about 5 months and I would really appreciate it if anyone could give me advice on my snatch technique.
Im on the 5th week of the strength development cycle.
Don't yank the bar off the floor - break it smoothly. This doesn't mean it has to be slow, it just means you shouldn't have slack in the system before it separates.
Pull is pretty good. More of a concern is your receiving position. Your feet sweep back and are too wide. You need to land in a solid squat position with your feet under the bar. Keep you head and eyes forward instead of down and push the bar straight up over the back of your neck.
Work on flexibility in the overhead squat and an overhead position in which you're pushing straight up on the bar rather than trying to pull it back.

Re feet, keep applying pressure against the ground by pushing w the legs a little longer as you extend in the pull - or you can think of it as waiting longer to pick up your feet. When you do move them, lift the knees up instead of the feet, and think of placing your heels directly under the bar (replacing your feet flat on the ground).
