Cortney Batchelor is a resident weightlifter at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. She has competed in both the Pan American Championships and World Championships, and was the 2013 National Champion in the 58 kg weight class.

I started the sport of Weightlifting in 2008. From the beginning, I always relied on my strength in performing the lifts and I was never a great technical lifter until I was under Zygmunt Smalcerz's watchful eye at the Olympic Training Center.
