I really enjoyed that article. Coming from a wide variety of training backgrounds including martial arts (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), powerlifting, and a few years ago running cross county, plus many more, I've sort of learned how some of them crossover for myself. But in the end whichever I truly want to excel in I have to truly focus on and make my priority. I think there is something to be said about an athlete who can excel in multiple disciplines, and yet to rise to the top in one certain sport (especially oly lifting) you have to hone all of your dedication to it and even when training something outside of the sport, doing that training as a hopeful benefit to your main focus.
