Thanks for the reply yesterday Greg. I have decent shoulder mobility, I'm not sure why I'm having the pain, the last thing is to go see a professional. Should I do additional assistance work for the split style?I'm thinking of doing bulgarian split squats. Thanks again.

Sam - Some unilateral work is a good idea, both for strengthening the split and for balancing strength and flexibility between the two sides. BSS are fine, just make sure you're hitting a similar bottom position.

Clean - 155#; 167#; 180# Snatch Balance - 175# After reading Greg's comment on the Snatch Balance vs. Drop Snatch, I decided to go back to doing the full Snatch Balance. I had switched to drop snatches per advice from a coach to work on speed, but it appears that the Snatch Balance is equally as important. Question: for Saturday's workout, what type of deadlift are we maxing? Is there a particular variation that we should be doing, or is it our choice?

Steve - You choice of DL. In fact, if you want to do anything to a max, go for it, just do it after the squat.
