I reciveed these squat racks a few days ago and, after quickly assembling them, put them to good use. They work exactly as indicated in the product description. Also, I was very pleased with how compact they become after lowering the rack extender to the lowest position. You are not going to fit them under your bed, mind you, but mine fit nicely in the closet and take up minimal space when not in use.
My only grief is that, as another reviewer pointed up, the base assembly is has a slight bit of give when bolted onto the upright rail that holds the weight. I, too, was able to go to the Home Depot and purchase a few washers to slide between the rails to eliminated the slight sway in the stands that occurs when weight shifts upon them. However, I think they should have been manufactured with a bit more precision. Given it was a simple fix, however, and just a mild inconvenience, I am not going to be upset over it.
