I came down with what I think is the flu last week and haven't lifted since last Wednesday morning (it hit me that night). I will probably be up for lifting by the tis weekend, but am doubtful I should go with the Rx after so many missed days. Should I just go by feel, or just come back with the recovery week next week and pick it up at the next cycle?

Go by feel - follow the workout in terms of exercises and see if you can do the sets/reps as prescribed, but reduce the weight as needed.
