How should the timing of this cycle work relative to a competition? Meaning how should I transition into a competition. Thanks!

You can aim to have this day be the day of the competition. The other option is to taper more on this current week by doing your openers a week out, and then do 85-90% (of opener) on Monday, and 75-80% (of opener) on Wednesday. You will have to feel out what works for you and how you respond.
