Question on the pull-ups: are these supposed to be strict? I usually kip bc it's just a lot of pull-ups for me. I usually try to make the kips smaller (as opposed to a lot of momentum or butterfly) so there's a little more strength. Thoughts?

That should be okay. Try to make as many strict pull ups as you can add you may kip to finish the sets.
