What does the (1+2) indicate? Is it one power snatch followed by two full snatches for two reps? I don't want to assume anything and do the wrong volume of work.

Yes, it,s a complex of 1 power snatch followed by 2 snatches. Go to the Program Help section for more information about the workout.

For the snatch complexes, are straps cool, or no? I've been doing them without.

Ward - Straps should be okay for the snatch complexes. I strongly advise against straps for cleans.
