I know I'm a day ahead and all, but the link to the training video appears to be broken. Just thought I'd give you a heads up.

Keep up the good work on the site.

Peace out.

I noticed that too, it's missing the /video part of the link, this one works:

Fixed. Thanks.

Good music, again.

Greg do you like the Bronx, 400 Blows or the Locust?
Greg Everett 2008-10-29
David -I don't know, never heard any of them.

Just wanted to check in. The knee is doing much better, over the past 2.5 weeks I've been progressively loading up the weight again as I was feeling better.

Today was my first day back at the full lifts and I felt great!

I started off with a heavy muscle snatch (145), then went back down to 95-lbs and started in on the full snatch. Everything up to 145 felt remarkably easy (I didn't miss any lifts today!). The first 145 I didn't have enough rearward lean on the 2nd pull so I had to chase the bar forward, but still got it. Went for 145 again and stuck it solid. Knowing that my previous PR is 150 and in the past I've pulled 155 high enough but couldn't get into position, I just went straight for 155 and stuck it with just a slightly forward hop but it felt strong. So I went up to 165 and nailed it like I'd pulled that weight 100 times before - pull was straight up and the catch was rock solid. I honestly think I had another 5-10 lbs in me, but just wanted to play it safe(ish) with my knee so I stopped there.

All this after a hard and heavy day yesterday to boot!

Greg and Aimee, thank so much for giving me the tools to not only refine my O-lifts, but to be able to program my rehab so that I came back better, not worse!

PS: My log details what I did over the last 2 weeks for my knee rehab if anyone is interested.

Wednesday's WOD a day late:

SN BAL - 135#
Technique still very poor, did complexes with press SN BAL and heaving SN BAL at lower weights to try and groove the technique. Need to do light every day in warmup.

FS - 225#
SN Pull - 175#

Metcon 5:40
This was fun. Who'd have thought that one could more or less forget how to do something as basic as a broad jump? I actually fell in my first series but had it together by the last few.
