Greg,and everyone else responsible for past 16 weeks of brilliant programming.Thank you very much. I got back to the level I was at a few years ago,and then I got a lot better and made new PRs.This site is very motivational and educational,I learned a lot about quality training. IŽll focus more on conditioning for a while now,but I think IŽll be back on cycle in April.. Thanks,take care everyone

Greg and Aimee, Yesterday, I competed in The North Face Endurance Challenge 50K trail run. I was near the back of the pack at 8:45 partly because this was my first 50K and ran conservatively, but also some rookie mistakes that increased my time. The reason I am writing is because the core of my training has been PMenu WODs. I also did some long runs or long intervals on the weekend and added some CrossFit or CrossFit Endurance WODs here and there. It is hard to say how the running affected my training (running is just for fun, I consider Weightlifting my main sport) because I injured my hand in mid-October when I started training for the run. I will say that my hand is essentially healed (3 weeks no overhead lifting and 3 weeks gradually increasing weight) and I can now lift 90+% of my previous max. Looking forward to this next cycle now that I am healthy and more focused; however, PMenu WODs will remain the core of my endurance training because I am starting to see, along with many others, the strength and power developed in training for Weightlifting is the critical path to success in endurance sports. Thanks again for a great resource and looking forward to training with you more in the new facility.
