hey greg, any suggestions on what the diameter of pull-up bars should be? also the distance of supports in a set up that spans a 12ft garage door? any suggestions would be great! thanks thea

Thea - 1.25" is pretty good. So I think if you just get 1" pipe, the outer diameter will be about 1.25". Our bars span 6' between supports and hold up well, although for heavier folks 4' is more comforting.
